Your credit union is a not-for-profit, cooperative, state- chartered, federally
insured financial institution that is owned and operated by its members.
Membership in the credit union is open to all members of the Locals of the Carpenters'
District Council of Greater St. Louis; to their immediate family; to anyone who
works for the Carpenters' District Council; to anyone who belongs to or works for
an organization that is affiliated with the District Council; to anyone who lives
or works in zip code 63139.
To become a member, all you need to do is sign a membership account card, and deposit
a minimum of $100.00 into your membership account (savings account).
A minimum balance of $100.00 (the par value of one ownership share) needs to be
kept in the account to maintain one's membership in the credit union.
The credit union's Board of Directors consists of seven volunteer members. The Supervisory
Committee and Credit Committee consist of three volunteer members each. Elections
for the Board and Committees are held once a year at the annual meeting.
The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government, insures all member accounts up to $250,000.
The credit union is regulated and monitored by the Missouri Division of Credit Unions. Our performance and casualty bond is with the
Credit Union Mutual Insurance Society (CUMIS). Annual audits are performed by an independent certified public accountant.

Dividends are paid quarterly on share accounts with balances of $100 or more. Dividends on certificate accounts are paid quarterly and at maturity.
Members do not pay any management or administration fees on their IRA accounts.
The credit union offers both personal and organizationa1 checking accounts. There are no monthly maintenance fees or charges per check on either account.
A minimum balance of $100.00 is to be kept in the member's savings account. ATM cards are available for members with personal checking accounts.
