Scholarships.

One of the most important initiatives in our current AGC of Missouri strategic plan is workforce development.  For many decades, we have strongly supported apprenticeship training, supervisory training, and professional leadership training.

According to a recent survey by the AGC of America, more than 70 percent of contractors report they are having a hard time filling hourly craft positions and it’s getting harder to attract and retain project managers and salaried personnel.  Moving forward, our Board has decided to put additional emphasis on providing scholarships to deserving people across the state.

In May, AGC of Missouri announced $47,000 in scholarship awards to 25 university, apprenticeship and trade school students throughout Missouri.  All of these scholarships are made possible by donations from our AGC of Missouri members to our AGC of Missouri Education Foundation.  We’ve also expanded our student chapters throughout the state, sponsoring AGC student chapters at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri S&T in Rolla, Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, and Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

The following students will receive 2018-19 AGCMO Scholarships:
