Assa Abloy – Door Hardware 101 (1/5 unit)
Assa Abloy 101 and Assa Abloy 102 are for carpenters who are fourth term or higher. To receive an exception, email Mark Clancy at mclancy@cjtf.org.
Description:
This online door hardware class contains 5 individual courses through Assa Abloy Academy. Each course will focus on various subjects/concepts within door hardware such as: determining door and hardware handing, basics of wood doors, basics of blueprints, steel frames, doors, hardware and basic estimating.
Length of course: 8 hours
Requirements:
Journeyman or minimum 4th term apprentice.
This course must be completed within 90 days of start date.
Assa Abloy – Door Hardware 102 (1/5 unit)
Description:
This online door hardware class contains 14 individual courses thru Assa Abloy Academy. Each course will focus on various subjects/concepts/codes within door hardware such as: hardware components, door handing, sound transmission with doors, ADA, calculate occupancy load to determine the minimum clear opening width – correct door swing – minimum number of exits and different types of fire and smoke resistant walls.
Length of course: 8 hours
Requirements: Journeyman or minimum 4th term apprentice.
Must have successfully completed Assa Abloy – Door Hardware 101.
This course must be completed within 90 days of start date.

Be sure to check your inbox, or junk folder if you did not get it right away.
Simply click on the link to verify your email address and then email Mark Clancy to let him know you are ready to be assigned the necessary modules.
DO NOT START ANY MODULES UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO YOU.
